The Fosi Audio DS3 is a portable USB DAC headphone amplifier designed for high-resolution audio performance and durable daily use. Built around the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC and XMOS XU316 USB interface, it supports PCM up to 32bit/768kHz and native DSD512 decoding for accurate digital-to-analog conversion with low noise and stable output. The device features both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, delivering up to 220mW at 32Ω and supporting headphones from 16–300Ω. Its USB-C plug-and-play design ensures wide compatibility with smartphones, PCs, laptops, tablets, and gaming devices. The CNC-machined aluminum chassis includes a transparent skylight window inspired by watchmaking design, offering partial visibility of internal components while maintaining structural strength, effective heat dissipation, and long-term reliability for portable and desktop audio setups.
